It has been recognized that there were contaminants (volatile organic compounds) in the water supply at the following two locations:

  • Marine Corps Base, Camp Lejeune, North Carolina; and

  • Marine Corps Air Station, New River, North Carolina.

The following locations fall within those locations:

  • Camp Geiger;

  • Camp Johnson;

  • Camp Knox;

  • Hadnot Point;

  • Holcomb Boulevard;

  • Montfort Point;

  • Naval Hospital Camp Lejeune; and

  • Tarawa Terrace.

SPECIAL NOTE:

  • If you were stationed at Cherry Point and say had an appointment at the Naval Hospital Camp Lejeune. That appointment WILL be considered being exposed for at least one day!

Eligibility

Active Duty, Reservists, and National Guard members and who served at least 30 days (consecutive OR non-consecutive) between:

August 1, 1953 and December 31, 1987

At either Camp Lejeune and/or Air Station New River.

Diseases

The Veteran may develop any of these diseases at any point before their death. HOWEVER the condition(s) severity MUST have been at least 10% at some point!
